Behind the scenes, the Maritime Cluster Advisory Group is actively contributing ideas on the development of the area. Residents, business owners, and organizations from the area around Nieuwe Diep–Nieuwe Werk provide both solicited and unsolicited advice on the plans. In recent months, the agenda has included, among other things, the planning process, the Ravelijn Bridge, traffic and parking, area development, and public participation. The Advisory Group also evaluated its working methods. This led, among other things, to the establishment of thematic working groups and the appointment of an independent chairperson.
