Study on the Travel Behavior of Ferry Service Users

The Municipality of Den Helder, the Municipality of Texel, the Province of North Holland, and TESO have jointly launched a study on the travel behavior of ferry users. The results will help guide the renovation of the ferry terminals and the design of the surrounding area.

The findings are also valuable for the development of the TESO ferry terminal within the Den Helder Maritime Cluster. As part of the renovation, we are working to create a future-proof, easily accessible, and safe ferry terminal that supports the growth of the port area and meets the needs of travelers.

Do you regularly take the ferry between Den Helder and Texel? If so, we warmly invite you to participate in the survey. You still have until July 26, 2026

For more information and to access the questionnaire , please visit the TESO website —Launch of Travel Behavior Study.
